Jane Piper, CEO

Graduate of Wichita State University, Kansas

A leading innovator in the chemical and equipment water treatment industry since 1982.

Ms. Jane Piper is an early pioneer in the growing legion of successful women entrepreneurs.  Her Monterey County, California company is a recognized leader in the utilization of ozone gas for treatment and prevention of soil and groundwater contamination.  Prior to starting her own company, Ms. Piper held sales and executive positions with National Water Management Corporation and Alten Ozone, two other California-based companies.  Ms. Piper’s accomplishments include developing innovative technologies in the field of ozone applications, environmental remediation, including two patents and several patent pending filings; rolling out these technologies for commercial use throughout the United States as well as other countries; and volunteering her personal time to support community-based wellness organizations.  Ms. Piper’s contributions to environmental responsibility and remediation science include published articles and dozens of seminars.  Ms. Piper graduated magna cum laude from Wichita State University.  Previous work experience includes key positions at Oakite Products, Betz Laboratories, and Olin Water Services providing traditional chemical water treatment solutions. Expertise includes ozone system applications, and ultrafiltration/pure water treatment equipment, having worked many years experience as an expert with Polymetrics (US Filter). Piper Environmental Group’s current concentration is on providing industry-leading ozone technology, equipment and services for water treatment, sterilization and remediation applications.

Anthony Rutland, Lead Engineer

Mr. Rutland has 15 years of experience in environmental equipment manufacturing, and holds a degree in Electrical Engineering. He manages design, support, and service for electrical and control systems of Piper Environmental Group’s line of products. Mr. Rutland also provides PLC programming training for Piper’s clientele, as well as directing Piper’s remote monitoring services for unattended operation of Piper’s products at various jobsites throughout North America.

Joshua Salvage, Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Salvage has experience in water purification as well as environmental equipment manufacturing. He graduated San Jose State with a Mechanical Engineering degree, and responsibilities include Piper’s mechanical system design, quality control, and product lifecycle management programs. Mr. Salvage also provides field service support for Piper’s products and troubleshooting/design/upgrade engineering for customers with non-operational competitive systems.
