Ms. Jane Piper, President, CEO, and Founder
As a graduate of Wichita State University, Kansas, Jane attained a major in Psychology and extensive study of biology, chemistry, and math. She has been in the chemical and equipment water treatment industry since 1982. Initially, her work experience at Oakite Products, Betz Laboratories, and Olin Water Services involved providing traditional chemical treatment solutions in water treatment.
Moving to California from the east coast in 1988, she began working in the field of ultrafiltration and related pure water treatment equipment in a management position at Polymetrics, now owned by US Filter. Ultimately, she concentrated on the ozone technology field beginning in 1989 with National Water Management. In 1993, she started Piper Environmental Group, Inc., Inc. at the adamant request and support of her customers, for whom she was providing technical troubleshooting and contract negotiations.
Mr. Joseph Mendez, Corporate Director and Vice President
As a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology, New Jersey, Joe attained a major in Mechanical Engineering with an emphasis in heat and power. He has over 25 years of engineering experience, including power generation while working at PSE&G, and facilities management, operations, maintenance and construction while working for RCA Corporation, American Cyanamid Co., Syntex Pharmaceuticals and Liposome Technologies (SEQUUS Pharmaceuticals).
Joe Mendez has been involved in designing, building, operating and maintaining ozone systems since 1996 when he joined Piper Environmental Group, Inc., Inc. full time. His innovative research and development efforts have greatly enhanced Piper's product offerings. |
