Mobile Ozone Trailer for In Situ Soil Remediation
Piper Environmental Group, Inc., Inc. designed and built a 6’ x 12’ mobile cargo trailer (300 gvw) capable of providing 2 ppd ozone at 2% concentration by weight with additional air sparge capabilities providing output at 10 scfm and 55 psig.

This mobile trailer was designed for portability to and from job location and is ideally suited for pilot and demonstration studies.

Specifications
Enclosed in our mobile ozone trailer is a water-cooled ozone generator producing 2 ppd at 2% concentration by weight, a water chiller to eliminate the need for an external cooling water supply, two 12 scfm air compressors with tank, and an air dryer with filters.

The trailer is also equipped with two ozone monitors: one high concentration ozone monitor that measures ozone output and one low concentration that tests ambient ozone levels. As a safety feature, a high ozone level registered in ambient air will shut down ozone production.

To boost ozone output pressure, we included an ozone compressor with an output pressure rating of ~50 psig. This is injected into a total flow of ~10 scfm of compressed air. At 50 psig, total ozone injection depth below water level can reach 100’.

The customer will make the final ozone connection to a multi-port stainless steel manifold with 4 ¼” FNPT outlets. Current configuration includes four stainless steel valves controlled by a PLC.

The electrical requirement at customer site for this trailer is 240 VAC, 60 Amps single phase with a neutral and ground to disconnect on trailer. The customer makes the final electrical connection.

Signed Lease Agreement, first period, last period, one period security deposit and any charges for mobilization due prior to scheduling. Deposit is returned after equipment is returned in good condition.

Pickup & Delivery
FOB factory Castroville, CA by others. We suggest a ¾ ton (F-250 or similar) vehicle for towing to customer location utilizing 2” hitch on trailer for pickups. Delivery cost is $600.00 per day, if by Piper driver, plus expenses. Start-up would be by engineer at rates noted below.

Start-up
$1,200 per day plus expenses (room, board and mileage at $0.45 per mile).

Based on availability and receipt of rental fees above.
