Barrel Washing Ozone System
Constructed of ozone resistant materials, these systems are designed for years of trouble free operation.
The SKW 15/10 and SKW 30/16 are complete self contained ozone systems designed specifically for wine industry barrel washing. The system injects, contacts and degases ozone before entering automated barrel washers. These two models will serve the 2-by and 4-by barrel washers with 15 and 30 gpm flow rates. Ozonated water may be diverted for other uses throughout the facility via fixed plumbing. Custom skids are available for higher flow rates.
Barrel Washing Advantages
Saving time and money is always important. Ensuring a more sanitized product is critical. We listened to you in designing a skid specific to meet wineries' barrel rinsing requirements. Ozone is a 152% stronger oxidizing agent than chlorine. Environmentally sound, ozonated cold water replaces traditional hot water and harsh chemical sanitation like chlorine and sulfur dioxides. Using ozone for barrel washing provides the following benefits:

Integrated Ozone Skids
- PLC controls facilitate automation and interface with multiple control devices
- Stainless steel contact tank maximizes ozone saturation, degases undissolved ozone and extends skid life
- Undissolved ozone is offgassed and destroyed ensuring personnel safety and meets OSHA regulations
- Constant recirculation allows saturated ozonated water to be available when called for by barrel washer
- Two different models to meet barrel washing needs at 15 and 30 gpm flow rates

Components All components are pre-wired and pre-plumbed. The skid is 304SS construction. All plumbing is schedule 80PVC. The complete skid mounted system consists of the following components:
